Role responsibilities (but not limited too):

• Running diagnostic tests on vehicles.
• Analysing diagnostic test results.
• Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
• Checking vehicle lighting systems.
• Test driving vehicles to gauge performance.
• Performing preventative maintenance on service trucks.
• Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles.
• Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist.
• Maintaining a parts inventory.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the shop.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and other components of heavy vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble diesel engines when they require major repairs or overhauls due to wear and tear or damage.
• Remove and replace defective or worn-out parts such as pistons, bearings, valves, gaskets, and filters using appropriate tools and procedures.

Annual income excluding superannuation range $80,000 - $100,000
